Aster: third in Belgian Championship

On Sunday, January 19, 2025, the 129th edition of the National Championship took place during the Agriflanders agricultural fair. We traveled to Flanders Expo in Ghent with two mares.

Aster had already secured her place in the championship due to her victory last year. For Aliss, it was going to be a tough challenge. According to predictions and newspaper announcements, the battle was already lost in advance but... despite she is already far pregnant, she delivered one of her best performances and won the category for seven-year-old mares!

The day couldn’t have been better, as we now had two home-bred mares in the Belgian Championship. And that; that is, for us, as small breeders, the greatest achievement.
But after countless turns in the arena, where horses were sent out one by one, Aster stayed in the competition. She made it to the final three and was named "Belgian third in the rankings".

We are incredibly proud of both our mares and just a little extra proud of Aster!
